Solar land pre-feasibility screening · global coverage

Know which solar sites deserve a second look — in a few minutes.

The Suryix screening workspace: candidate parcels with Advance, Investigate
and Reject outcomes, area and capacity estimates, and a map.

Upload or draw candidate land. Suryix screens terrain, solar resource, mapped grid infrastructure, access and environmental constraints, then emails you when the results are ready.

Screening candidate land is slow, costly,
and hard to scale across a pipeline.

The old way

  • Pull irradiance from PVGIS manually
  • Check Google Earth for slope
  • Call the DISCOM for substation distance
  • Compile spreadsheets to compare parcels

Suryix

  • NASA POWER fetched automatically
  • SRTM terrain analysis in seconds
  • OSM grid proximity, instant
  • A defensible shortlist, with the unknowns named

Submit, leave, decide.

1

Drop a pin or draw a parcel

Map input with coordinates or polygon. Works for any country with GPS data - Rajasthan to Rotterdam.

2

We analyse 8 data sources simultaneously

NASA POWER, SRTM terrain, OSM grid & roads, ESA land cover, flood screening, and hydrology.

3

Get a shortlist you can defend

Advance, Investigate, Reject or Incomplete for every parcel, with the reasons, the confidence behind each number, and what your team still has to verify.

Global coverage · Source and confidence on every metric · Deterministic screening rules

Global coverage, stated honestly.

Screen a parcel anywhere on Earth. Solar, terrain and land cover come from global datasets; grid and environmental mapping vary by country, and every screening shows you exactly which is which.

Questions

Is this accurate enough for real decisions?

Suryix is pre-feasibility screening: it tells you which parcels are worth spending engineering, grid and legal time on, and which are not. Every metric shows its source, its resolution and how much confidence it supports, and anything the data cannot establish is shown as Unknown rather than assumed to be fine. Detailed engineering, interconnection studies, title review and site survey remain required before you commit to a site.

Which countries does this work for?

Any coordinate on Earth. We pull from global satellite datasets - NASA POWER, ESA WorldCover, SRTM elevation - so coverage is worldwide. Each report includes a confidence score per factor, so you always know how strong the data is for your region.

How is the suitability score calculated?

A transparent weighted model across 6 factors: solar irradiance, terrain slope, grid proximity, land cover, flood risk, and road access. Every weight, sub-score, and data source is shown in your report - nothing is a black box.

Can I analyse a land parcel instead of a single point?

Yes - and it gives you much more. Draw a boundary on the map or upload a GeoJSON file. The report calculates usable area, approximate MW capacity, and land cover analysis based on your exact parcel.

What does the PDF report include?

Executive summary, suitability score breakdown, monthly GHI chart, infrastructure distances, risk matrix, energy yield estimates across four system sizes, and full data source citations. Professional enough to share directly with investors or partners.

How fresh is the underlying data?

Solar irradiance from NASA POWER updates annually. Land cover from ESA WorldCover 2021. Grid and road infrastructure from OpenStreetMap, updated continuously by a global contributor community. Every report stamps the exact data version used.
